Does mastic gum taste good?

Yes, it is the taste of nature. 

Can children, pregnant and breastfeeding women use the mastic?

Studies have never focused on the use of mastic by children under 3 years of age, pregnant and breastfeeding women, so we are obliged to state that mastic is not suitable for these groups.

What is the difference between ELMA chewing gum and chewing raw mastic?

The difference is fundamental. ELMA chewing gum contains mastic and mastic oil in varying degrees, but at levels below the recommended daily dose for helicobacter pylori infection or oesophageal reflux disease.

In addition, there is, of course, a difference in taste and smell. While raw mastic has a consistent unmistakable taste and smell, chewing gum is influenced by flavour and type. ELMA Classic and ELMA Sugarfree are probably the closest to mastic.

Is it possible that excessive consumption of natural mastic or ELMA chewing gum can have any side effects?

No side effects have ever been reported in historical or modern times regarding the consumption of natural mastic.
