How to chew raw mastic gum

Chewing raw mastic gum is a simple and enjoyable way to experience it. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to chew it properly.

Instructions on how to chew mastic tears may seem complicated, but in fact they are not.

1

Before you start chewing for the first time, we recommend drinking a glass of clean water. You won’t have a dry mouth, and the mastic will chew and combine better.

2

Choose a rather hard piece from the package and chew it between your front teeth, with the help of your tongue, until you form a solid mass.

3

Then you can chew it like a classic chewing gum in your whole mouth.

4

Combine different hardnesses of the mastic tears.

Another, much easier way: put a tear of mastic in your mouth and suck it like candy. The mastic absorbs saliva until it softens completely, and then you can start chewing. Avoid swallowing the gum while chewing.
