Mastic Strong&Pure - How to Solve Sticking Powder in a Capsule?
In short: Mastic powder can stick together inside Mastic Strong&Pure capsules after exposure to heat or humidity. This is normal for a pure, additive-free resin and does not affect quality — and it’s easy to fix.
What do Mastic Strong&Pure capsules contain?
Strong&Pure capsules contain only crushed mastic gum — 100% mastic powder, with no added substances. Like all resins, mastic is sensitive to external influences, mainly heat and humidity. Because they are our purest product, these capsules are also the most sensitive to temperature and moisture.
Why don’t they contain anti-caking agents?
Because we care about the purity of the product. With Strong&Pure you take mastic powder with nothing added — but the trade-off is that the powder can stick together, so proper storage matters.
Store Mastic Strong&Pure in the refrigerator
- Mastic resin is very sensitive to higher temperatures.
- Both mastic tears and 100% mastic capsules should be kept in the refrigerator (especially in summer), in their intact blister pack.
- We don’t recommend transferring them into other containers, such as pill boxes.

Good to know: In hot summer weather, pure mastic can soften and stick during shipping and storage. If that’s a concern, you have two easy options:
- Stock up when it’s cooler — order a larger supply in the cooler months and keep it in the fridge.
- Choose a blend with an anti-caking agent — Mastic+ Prebiotic and Mastic+ D3 contain a little silicon dioxide, so they’re less prone to sticking. Mastic Comfort sachets are another easy option.
