About the author: Mgr. Eva Hájková, MBA

Specialist in preventive medicine, functional medicine and nutrition, author of the book "Hravě o živé stravě" and mother of two children.

Professional Profile

I graduated from the bachelor's and master's programs in public health protection at the Medical Faculty of the University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic. My professional background includes work as a consultant in preventive medicine and as a coordinator of screening programs for the National Health Service (NHS) in London, where I gained valuable experience in public health.

Subsequently, I earned an MBA from ESCP Europe with a focus on online entrepreneurship in the fields of fitness, nutrition, and health. I also pursued specialized training in the field of functional medicine and nutrition, including studies at the Institute for Functional Medicine and the Chris Kresser Institute. Together with my husband Michal, I co-founded the Institute of Functional Medicine and Nutrition in the Czech Republic, where I focus on educating doctors and specialists in the field of functional medicine.

Personal Profile

I am a mother of two children, Eliška and Tomáš, and the partner of my husband Michal. Our family lived in Australia, where I worked as a specialist in nutrition, disease prevention, and as a holistic health coach. After returning to the Czech Republic, I am involved in lecturing and educational activities in the field of functional medicine and nutrition.

I am the author of the book "Hravě o živé stravě", which connects my knowledge about nutrition with a wider audience. Although often associated with vegetarianism, I emphasize an individualized approach to nutrition and respect various dietary preferences.

Overall, I am committed to a multidisciplinary approach to health and education in the field of functional medicine and nutrition.
