Which toothpaste for sensitive gums or smokers?

Natural toothpastes without fluoride. And with Chios mastic oil!

Ondřej Dvořák

In short: the Mastic & Herbs range is a line of fluoride-free natural toothpastes (and a mouthwash) with Chios mastic oil and herbs — free from SLS, parabens, artificial sweeteners and alcohol, and not tested on animals. A natural choice for everyday oral care and fresh breath.

Why fluoride-free?

Some people simply prefer toothpaste without fluoride — for example because they get fluoride from other sources, or want a more natural formula. These toothpastes replace it with naturally derived ingredients and Chios mastic oil, with most formulas around 97–98% natural origin.

Good to know: fluoride is a recognised ingredient for preventing tooth decay. If caries prevention is your priority, follow your dentist's advice on whether a fluoride toothpaste is right for you.

The Mastic & Herbs range

All made with pure Chios mastic oil and herbs:

Mastic & organic chamomile — a gentle everyday formula with organically grown chamomile.
Mastic & mandarin — a mild, fruity taste, nice for sensitive gums and popular with children.
Mastic & organic mint — cool, fresh mint; a favourite with smokers who want fresh breath.
Kids — mastic & strawberry — a fruity flavour for children from age 2.
Mouthwash — mastic, stevia & mint — to round off your routine.

(A banana kids' variant also exists but is currently sold out.)

Free from — and natural

Across the range the toothpastes are free from:

fluoride
SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate)
parabens
artificial sweeteners
ethyl alcohol

They are not tested on animals and contain no animal-derived ingredients.
