What is in this mastic balm
The formula follows a traditional recipe. Beeswax forms a protective layer on the skin, organic olive oil and sunflower oil add softness, and aloe and vitamin E complete the base. Mastic oil, obtained from the gum of the mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus), gives the balm its typical resinous, fresh aroma and ties it to the Mediterranean tradition of mastic.
